rear seats

hey guys i had a question, are the rear seats in my camaro supposed to be bolted down? I'm thinking they're supposed to be but the other day i noticed that there not, that i can just lift them right out. If they are supposed to be does any1 kno what the bolt looks like or have a pic of it? i kno odd question. Well id appeciate the help, thanks guys

Rear seats should be held in place by one screw on the bottom front of each seat cushion.

is there any possibility u could figure out what size bolt is holding it down? thanks

I can't recall the size. If you have a socket set try them for one to fit.

None that I have ever owned (firebirds) have been bolted down.

they were probably removed, typically held by one bolt of a larger size. at least 10mm but i'm thinking more like 12 or 13mm.

its either a 15 or 13 mm. hit up a junker and try to get 2 bolts for those seats. you'll want them their in case of a crash.
