What do you use to strip the nose of the firebird, i think it polyuathane, so would I use poly stripper Any help would be great

Go to the little section of paint stuff they have in the automotive area at wal mart, they should have "Bulldog Flexible Bumper Paint Stripper"

one can should be enough to do your bumper, but be warned, sometimes the stuff dont work, i guess its certain paints, then you just gotta get to sanding

I have some scratches in the poly, can i wet sand that?

You'll probably have to use some sort of filler, scratches usually dont sand out of the bumpers or ground effects very well.

Thanks for the info, what kind of filler do i use, any certain ones that work well, I know it has to be flex filler with flex primer afterwards, the the paint have to be flex to? Thanks

I use 3M panel bond on ground effects and bumpers, sticks like no tomorrow, they also have plastic parts fillers, the whole thing with flex seems to be a bunch of misinformation, while speaking with the people at my local paint shop, flex additives are pretty much gone from the paint after about 24 hours, they are only for things like if you are painting the bumper cover then installing the impact bar and putting it on the car so the paint doesnt screw up during installation, told me if its already on the car not to even bother with it, the bumper isnt supposed to flex like people assume.

Thanks man. I stripped as much as I could and now started wet sanding the bumper. Then i have clear flex primer I will spray on when I'm done, then all I have to do is paint it with the rattle can right? Thanks man, One more thing, can I take the fenders off without taking off the bumper cover? Thanks
