How to lower gta seats
Hi,
My height is 190cm. and because of that my head bumps on my t-top on every bump on the road when the seat is in the ideal position.
Anyone know anyway to lower stock gta seats? Also what do the buttons side of the seats do? I push them o motor in the seat starts however I can't feel any effect. Probably the mechanism is too old.
If stock seats can't be lowered can you recommend me some aftermarket seats that are lower than stock ones?
Thanks

The buttons on the side of the seats inflate/deflate the bags in the seats (one button is for the side bolsters, the other for the lumbar support).. Have you tried using the right handle at the front of the seat to rotate the seat backward on the lateral axis?? That might make it easier to fit in..

im with you my friend, i finally got into a position where i cleared the ceiling nicely in my stock seats.. they dont have much of any foam in the *** area so they hug onto you nicely, and you sit nearly on the floor...
but today i put in my pmd seats, they have alot of padding.. and while a bit more comfortable (yet they dont hug as much) i lost my clearance.. we are too tall man :P
my friend is like 6'4" tho and has been driving a camaro for years, i dunno how he does it, must be uncomfortable as hell
if the lower tilt adjustment wasnt there, id cry.. alot.. that thing all the way back is the only way to keep my legs comfortable.. and it worked alot better in my stock seats, thats a damn shame

I saw a guy riding around town once last year. He was really tall and had to take his t-tops off so his afro could stick out above the roof line about 3 inches... FUnniest camaro driver I've ever seen!!

You say that the power motor doesn't do anything when you push the buttons? If you can live without power adjustments, then take the seat off the track, remove the power track, put in a manual seat track from a junkyard 3rd gen and bolt your seat back on. You will gain an inch or two of headroom. Takes all of 5 mins to unbolt the tracks. And you can prolly get manual one from u-pull-it for 5 or 10 bucks. Any track from 82-92 Camaro or Firebird should work. As to getting new seats to fix the problem, most aftermarket seats will actually sit higher than the stock seats. There are exceptions, possibly.
