Hows this for a hole??

When I got my car last year there was a hole in the rear wheel well. I wanted to do a good job fixing it but didnt have the time then so im starting on it now. The newfie chrome was just temporary, its only been on there for a month or two because my wear window gets covered in dirt and water in the rain. I ripped the interior out last year and now I have the seat belt retractor off and Ive started cutting out the bad metal but im taking my time.

The grey stuff to the left of center is just some of the black noise insulation. And yes thats my tire in the background.

Actually its from the dumb previous owners driving the car in the winter for 7 years and not having it oil sprayed or even bother to clean out the wheel wells im thinking.

The bottom under the spare is fine its just that hole I have now. Thats as big as it gets though I already beat out all the loose stuff.

Im just cutting it all out now and cutting my filler panel to fit. I took a sawzall to some guys parts car last year so I have a mostly complete panel ready to weld in.
