Corbeau

I am interested in getting Corbeau Seats for my bird. I was originally going to get the Cr1, but now I see that they have the a4, which seems to not sit as high as the cr1 and is also about 70 dollars cheaper. Has anybody had experience with either of the seats, especially the A4? Thanks

I have asked this type of question myself, and have memorized all the responces.

Basically, the brackets that Corbeau makes (and any other aftermarket seat company) are going to be about an inch or so taller than stock, this is what really makes it a PITA. Either you live with the height increase, modify the new brackets, or get your old brackets to work.

Asofor picking seats, only thing I can say is to find them and actually sit in them to make the decision, otherwise you are going on pure aesthetics.

True...but I have a set of red CR1s and I think they are awesome.

i love the look of the cr1's but i wasn't impressed with the quality of the cloth. the comfort can't compare to the trs but the leathers are expensive...my tracks were $130 for the pair and i had to modify them greatly which still sit a bit high for me as i'm 6'3 and i can barely get in with a helmet.

the seats weren't bad at 1300 even though i'm selling them for 800 to get rid of them. i'm happy with the construction but if i could do it again i think i would have paid the extra and went sparco. much nicer construction. i have bride right now and love them but i bought them used, at 2500 for a pair i won't be replacing one anytime soon if needed.

you really do need to see them in person though, it will change your mind drastically on what you like and don't like. after all you have to sit in them so they must be comfortable.
