'89 RS Camaro - 2.8L MPFI... Gauge cluster doesn't work...

OK,
I've finally got this car running the other day, to find out that the ONLY gauge that works is the Amps (ammeter) gauge.

The oil pressure gauge is pegged down at 0 (doesn't move), the fuel level gauge is pegged ABOVE full, and the tachometer registers 4500 rpm @ a true idle of about 900 rpm.

It's ALL screwed up !!

Has anyone had this sort of problem and remedied it w/ a new instrument cluster ?

Additionally, the factory radio isn't keyed ON... it will operate w/ the key out of the ignition. Is this normal ?
The battery goes dead every 3 days if it sits, so I'm thinking that radio may be a constant draw to the battery.

Any thoughts/suggestions to the above mentioned questions?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Sounds like an electrical problem. Check the senders and make sure they are good then move back to the cluster from there. You might want to post or have this moved to the electronics section as well.
