I don't know the thread size or lenght of them but the bolt head size is 13MM.

Speaking of seatbelt bolts, I'm having a problem trying to get my seatbelts out. I have the shoulder rear seat belts. The allen head bolts holding them to the seat won't come out for me at all. I only strip the bolts. I got one halfway out and it looks like the threads were covered in some blue stuff...? Is there a trick to this?

That blue stuff on them is a sealant used by the factory to keep the screws from backing out (can we say LOC-TITE). I hope you aren't using a allen wrench on them. Those are Torx bit screws. On mine, I had to push down on the ratchet after I first loosened them with a breaker bar and pipe extension.

that's what i was thinking, but i didn't need a breaker bar. i was able to remove them with a T47 bit and a 3/8" ratchet.

A good pair of visegrips or a set of easy-outs.

unfortunately i don't have a T47, and none of the stores around carry them. i have been using a T45. my bit is kinda stripped, but as long as i'm careful, i hold it steady, and keep the bit straight, it will work.

Don't know if this helps anybody or not, but a metric bolt with a 13mm flat to flat head size is probably a M8x1.25.

I haven't been able to find a T47 either - checked Sears and the Home Depot- they only carry 45 and 50, nothing in between. Where did you guys get your T47?

Hey Chris,
Come up to Alfys pizza on Saturday @ 4pm & I might have a Spare t47 running around this place.
Auto Zone is really good for carring them & same with Advance Auto.

Normally I have tool kits to give away at the meetings.

i think i found a T47 at advance or autozone. if you need a set of torx bits, search ebay and you will find a few different people with sets that do have a T47.

My Advanced Auto had a kit that I got recently that had like sixteen beefy torx bits from size 10 to 60 (including 47) for only $14.99...

Thanks for the offer, I'll try to make the meeting- but It's been over two years now and I haven't made one yet

So I guess it's auto advance or autozone- thanks for the replies, I was beginning to think that the T47 didn't exist. Now I can take back my $8 Sears T50.
