Car: 1982 chevy camaro
Engine: 305cfi
Transmission: 700r4
SLOW moving power windows...

both windows on my '82 camaro move real slow, up/down driving down the road or just got the ign. on. whats the reason for this? are the motors bad?

chances are your track and regulator are gummed up. I would take the door panel off and lube the regulator and track really good (clean it all first if you can) and see if that helps. Mine don't move the fastest either on my '90, I think it's just a characteristic of the cars, but if they are REALLY slow, then try a good oiling. If that doesn't work, you may have a window motor that's starting to go bad.

My passenger side got real slow, then stopped working. Turned out to be a dieing window switch.

Its the switch or the motor (pray its the switch!)

Changing the motor is a pain in the ***! Not too difficult but frustrating when you get it put back together and a track pops loose when you test it and you gotta start over!
