rolling my car around?
rolling my car around?
am i gonna cause any damage to anything if i roll my car around w/o the front fenders, bumper, and hood? now i dont mean drive it down the road or anything, but i would like to drive/push it out of my garage everyone in a while to make space for other weekend projects, and also i need to roll it onto a trailer one day to take it to the shop to weld in SFC......is it ok to weld them in w/o the front clip on?
thanks for the help.

You can roll it, drive, race it, etc., not going to make an ounce of difference weather the sheetmetal is there or not (except less weight for racing I suppose..).

i've moved mine around plenty with the entire front of the car gutted no problems. as for the STCs, that should be fine too. Some say it's better for the car to be at full weight and others say it's okay to weld them in with no engine/tranny, but the weight difference with or without the front clip should be insignificant as far as preloading goes.
