T-Top Latch Problems

T-Top Latch Problems
Ok the first time I accidently posted this is tech/general engine somehow. But I really need help. And I am new to the posting thing.
I have an 89 firebird with t-tops, and one day i toop the top off to clean it and the plastic outer rod shot off and the spring came out I toop the plastic cover off and saw that where the c-clip attaches to the plastic rod broke in two. I have tried everything to glue it back together but nothing will hold it. Does anyone know where i can get a new one of these? All of the 3rd gens in the junk yards around here are picked over and there are no tops left on any of them. I really need a new one because I can lift the top about an inch up without it and it leaks bad cause it doesn't latch. PLEASE HELP! thanks alot!
