This B&M Megashifter was in my brothers 96 Trans Am. Since my brother is out of town and my dad drives the T/A sometimes I had to remove it becuase my dad has a hard time operating the B&M.
I didn't want the B&M, but me being the nice brother, I took it out and put it in my Formula and will be putting the Formulas shifter into the 96 Trans Am.

The main problem with the B&M is that it sits high, so I had to bang down the brackets in the trans tunnel. I would have cut them off, but I didn't have anymore cutoff wheels.
The second problem is that the 4th gen console sits so low. You need to cut a little off of the underside of the console where the shift boot ring attaches to get some clearance for the B&M otherwise when you shift, the console will pop up.
The B&M also sits at a very steep angle when it's in gear, almost like having the stock shifter in 1st gear.

Only took 5 hours to pull the B&M from the T/A and install it in the Formula. (normally it would take only 1-2 hours if I had a stock console).

I use the pass side floor board as a trash can. I don't like to just toss my trash on the street. That is the #1 reason we get kicked out of parking lots that we hang out in here in Va Beach.
