Carpet...

I want to take the old carpet out of my 91' Formula, but I don't exactly know how to do it. How would i take it out, what should i clean it with, and how would I put it back in. I figured it would be easier to do it this way rather than shell out hundreds of dollars to have new carpet put in. Thanks you guys for helping me with this. :lala:

i would start with the search button and see what comes up, there have been many post on cleaning removeing and installing new carpet.

but basically you need torx sockets and phillips screw drivers, remove everything that is on top of the carpet. door trim seats kick panels center console ect ect.

To put in or take out carpet you need to remove the center console, all the seats, all the seat buckles, and most of the car's plastic trim panels. I would definately recommend visiting any local pull it yourself salvage yards first though. I found some almost perfectly new black carpet out of a 89 Firebird two month back. It cost me only $20 for the complete set. :lala:
