91 firebird gfx removal how do i do it?
Got a 91 firebird, im pulling the ground effects off of, how do i remove them. I figured out the side ground effects. but how do i get the ones off the doors and the rear, the rear seem to be held somewhere up high in the back, but i cant see or feel anything. Also, there are steel brackets i need to remove, is the ones on the side of the car tack welded on? am i gonna have to cut or hammer those off? Any and all advice is appreciated, thanks

The rear bumper cover has 3 nuts you have to take off on each end and then there are 6 or so blacks push clips under the bumper and on top of the bumper. You will have to take out the taiilights to get to the top ones. The ones one the door you have to take off the door panal.I think there are 5 behind it.There is also one acorn nut at each end of the door.

Your steel strips should not be welded on, there should be a small bolt on the one side holding them on, these are the strips on the body at the door that hold the rear end of the lower gfx right?, the two rear panels are pretty simple. there are 3 nuts on the inside of the car, behind your spare, under your cargo box on the 1/4 panel. there are speed nuts that mount the gfx to the rear bumper, these usually snap, be careful!!. there are also two or three small screws that hold the top end in place underneath i believe this was one of your issues. look right up behind the gfx, you will see these screws there, not hard to get out once you find them. be careful with all of your strips. these things are pretty weak!, hope i have helped, post more questions if you need to

okay thanks guys, that really did help, i just have one more question, its refering to the metal strip under the door, not the door its self, it doesnt seem to have any bolts, it seems more tack welded in place, could it be, that it was damaged at one time and tack welded on, i havent check the passenger side yet. but the metal bracket kinda goes up under the car, im gonna examine that more today, it was getting kinda dark last night.
If i go to sell these gfx, whats a resonable price to ask, is there a high demand for them. Im just trying to go with a cleaner look

The strip is tack welded to the rocker, unless your gfx are not a stock item for the car, but they are welded at the factory, as for price, depends on condition, and the demand in your area, but these are still available new but they are pricey, look into the $$$ at a local supplier and go from there
