I have a stock firebird and rather then going and getting ta fenders, could i just buy these vents off ebay and cut and install them on my fenders? if so, has anyone done it before, Does it require any special mounting equipment? Any and all info is appreciated, thanks

I can't help you other than to say yes, it can be done and has been done fairly recently by someone. He went into depth about what he did, and he even posted several pix of his progress. Use the above, and it should turn up.

 

As the saying goes, anything is possible.... You will need a way to recess the opening so the vent will lay flush against the fender, eitherwise you will sit high all the way around the vent......
