Hey guys,
I have found the problem with my Drivers side door. It has been making LOUD sounds when going over bumps. I managed to go over a bump while looking at the door and saw that the door moved 1/2" up and down from the body at the rear of the door. I thought mabey it was a hinge, but when I had the door open, and pulled up, there was NO PLAY in the hinge. I actually started lifting up the whole car!! I then looked at the latch, and I think I found my problem. The rubber shell that goes over the latch mechinism is gone!! Its completely warn away. So I have decided to replace the latch and see what happens. Where can I get a good replacement? I know I can get one at a junk yard, but I am sure they will have quite a bit of wear on them too!
