Power Drivers Seat Harness...

Hey guys,
I am installing a new interior into my RS. The new drivers seat is a power seat. My car didnt come from the factory with power seats, but the new seat came with the wiring harness. Is there a factory connector that I can plug this into. I know that all I need is a 12v constant for the seat, but it would be nice if I could just plug it in. If I have to, I will run a fused wire from the battery. Anyone know how many Amps the fuse should be?

Thanks in Advance,
Mark B

THere is a single wire (orange or Red) I forget, that runs from under the dash, it plugs in above the drivers side kick panel down into the wire loom, comes out half way back, then plugs into your seat controls. The ground wire is screwed to the floor pan.

Youll have to do your own wiring but GM still makes these power seat connectors. It comes with the connector and about a foot of wiring coming out of it. You would have to wire it from there obviously.

I still ask, why mess with it, find a doner car, take it from there, I ran 2 of them, one for my 6 way power seat and one for the Ultima style Lumbar Support... only took me about 1/2 hour, no cutting splicing, just inbstall...
