Stupid seat belt guides!
Stupid seat belt guides!
Allow me to explain this a tad before request assistance from fellow 3rd gen members. I purchased 4th gen seats off of ebay. Perfect condition. The seats where out of a '95 Convertable Z28. They did not have the seatbelt guides factory installed...because I guess that the convertables do not need them because the seat belt comes out from a different location. I was at a bone yard the other day and found some guides from a hard top. I cut the seat belt, removed the screws and took it home. Now, I can feel the plate with my hands, but I cannot find the holes...everytime I think I found them, the pin bent or moved onto the side. Does ANYBODY on here know for sure that 4th gen converable seats have holes drilled for the seat belt guides? I tore up the top part of these seats to try and find the holes with 3rd gen guides because I did a search on here and it seemed as though that they would fit. I am getting really frusterated. Thanks for any and all help.

I just bought a set of 4th gen seats - black leather out of an '00 Formula. Both front seats are missing these seatbelt guides as well.
If you would like, I can take some pictures of exactly where the holes are in the headrest. It might help you some.
If you end up selling the guides (and they are black) please let me know, as I am looking for a set.
Do you know of 3rd gen guides will work?

Oops, just noticed the date of your original post. Didn't realize that when it came up in the search.
How'd you make out with the seatbelt guides?
