Using foil for paint masking

Thought I would share with you what was passed on to me by a paint and body guy about using foil to protect parts from over spray.

Tonight I was painting my calipers and the foil was a simple effective way to protect other parts from over spray....works great and beats news paper and tape.

He told me this was a very effective way to protect underhood items when painting in the engine bay as well.

Hope this simple trick helps someone

Yup, it does work good. I used it to do a carburetor body.

My g/f asked me if it was some form of high performance energy draw in mod (think: solar energy).
