Plastic Adhesive

I'm fixing my rocker emblem, one of the studs got ripped off by a prior owner, what would you folks recomend to use to stick it back on? I would just glue it to the rocker panel, but I may want to take it off again someday. Thanks in advance.

I would just go get some double sided emblem tape that they sell at napa or other similar stores. Should hold perfectly fine. I ordered a replacement emblem from GM and it dosn't have studs, just a peice of tape on the back.

Hrm...interesting. Is it possible to take them off again without damaging the emblem or rocker once you put them on? That's why I want to use the origianal studs if possible. Thanks for your prompt reply though.

I've never tried but i'd imagine you could get them off with the tape just as easily using something that won't mar the paint to pry it up. I've only taken a rocker emblem off once without breaking a stud.

3M makes double sided molding tape... this is some pretty strong stuff... im using it to put my emblems on my car.... when you want to take them off take a hair dryer and heat them up a little bit and they should peel right off ... butta
