ALDL port

Hi. On my 85 TA I had a plastic cover that said..DIAGNOSTIC over the ALDL port. My 90 Formula interior is a little different and I dont see it where it is. Do I have to remove the entire lower panel to get to it, or can I access it through the fuse panel.

It should be in the same general location. Im a camaro guy but I dont think they would move it around that much.

Im suprised you cant see it if you crouch down by the seat.

I believe that Vader's ride is a mid-80s 'bird, and the ALDL is in the same place as my '89 IROC. TP|383 is correct unless they changed something in the '90 model year; can you get a pic or two of the driver's side dash area? I'll make a note to check my '89 Firebird tonight and see; granted, it's not a '90 like yours, but it may help point you in the right direction.

If they moved it on the 90-92 firebird like they did the 90-92 camaro, it's right next to the fuse panel.

deadbird has just relieved me of my obligation - thanks

Let me know if you'd like me to look anyway.

Thanks..I saw it next to the fuse panel. I wish they would have kept the other cover though..it was much more obvious.

Good to see you found it and that the 90-92 firebirds are like the camaros in that sense. <% loginfo %>
