$250 for quarter panel replacement????

I called a local body shop and got a quote on welding in a new passenger quarter panel, puttying it in, and priming ready for paint. They quoted me at $250. Does this seem like a good price? I was thinking it was too low? Should I trust this guy if the price is too low, or is this about right?

P.S. This is with me providing the panel.

That’s less than I would have guessed; who knows he may just have gotten real good at poppin them on and it doesn’t take him long. But I can promise you that’s not a GM quarter that he quoted you, probably gonna be alot thinner than factory. If it’s a legit shop I’d probably do it if it were me, just don’t drive it out of the shop until it’s to your approval. If it’s some cat that is gonna do it in his home garage or something I think I’d have to pass on that. Check the shop out before you commit.

The panel would be provided by me... I would cut one from the local boneyard.

Sounds like a good price to me. I thought it would be a lot more expensive to replace a piece like that.
