Shift indicator-87 'bird
Tried a search and came up dry. Just fixed my warped console and felt inspired to finish console off. I've got no indicator for the shifter and would like to know what gear I'm in without doing tach math in my head or guessing! Is it just bulbs to change or...? Thanks
Already changed the 37 bulb on the indicator plate BTW but nothing changes when I pull the car into gear.

As far as I remember, I have the same console and shift indicator in my 86 that is in your 87 and I don't have an actual shift indicator, all it is, is a lighted panel that show you the P R N OD D 2 1 and the shifter is actually the indicator to show you which gear you are in.
