Help?

Well I bought my car about a yearr ago, before I had bought it, it sat in a feildnd was home to some mice. So they built nests in the heating ducts of my car. I think The heater fan has finally blew all the insulation w/e they made there nest out of out of the vents. Well i was trying to get to of it out of the side vent on the dirvers side of the car, and managed to make that little plastic peice fall off the back of the vents, so you can't move them up or down. I got that peice out, but now how do I put it back it? Is there a way to pull that vent out? Thanks guys

Can't understand what you're asking! Your sentences don't make sense so I don't know how to help you with the issue. Try rephrasing your question differently.

Sorry man, it was late that night. How i take my drivers side heater vent out. There is a little **** on the left up the vent witch directs the air up or down. Now inside behind the vents, there a plastic stick looking thing that holds the flaps of the vent together, so when u move that numb, the 3 flaps move to direct the air. Now the air just comes out, you can't direct it, does this help at all? Thanks

Now I understand what you're asking!!

My question is now related to the vents. Are the Firebird vents the same as Camaro vents? I'm not really Firebird savvy and I didn't realize that when I read your first post.

If they are the same, removing the vents can be tricky. If you look inside the vent, there should be a small tab that locks the vents. This is also the pivot point for the vent to adjust with. carefully slide a small screwdriver under the tab and lift it out of the hole. You'll probably need 2 screwdrivers, one for the top and one for the bottom. Once released, the vent should be removable. Hopefully you'll be able to see how the vent tabs reconnect to the stick.

Let me know if this sounds like it'll work for the Firebirds as well.
