i have a 89 camaro the passenger side door is hard as heck to open it wont pop and u have to pull on it pretty hard anyone have ideas? thanks

 

first off try wd40 on the hinges and the latch where the door locks

when you open it does it sag at all? the hinges may need to be re adjusted, if they are sagging it will make the door hard to open.

 

they dont sag at all there easy to move once open jsu really hard to get past the quater like the door is locked type of thing

 

yeah the little latch that goes around the round peg could be wearing out.

 

ok ill look into it the cars comin down this winter for engine/trans/rearend and misc ill take a look at maybe refreshing all the door latches, and whatnot

 

I suggest yo do check that as soon as possible. Same thing happened to me I let it go for months and now my driver side door wont open. The lock seems to engage and disengage but when I pull the door handles, either, inside or out the door just wont open. Next I'll try to open it with a slim jim has this happened to anybody?
