Has anyone taken a set of t-tops with the hook latching mechanism and converted them to the pin style? I was told that it can be done so I bought a very nice set of glass t-tops with the hook latching system. I have a 1992 rs with the lexan tops with the pin style mechanism. I started to do the transformation and ran into a trouble spot because it looks as if I have to remove the whole support from the glass to do this transformation. I was hoping to just be able to swap "innards". My t-tops also have the locks, the new ones do not. Any info is appreciated. Thanks!
