have any of you taken the carpeting out and replaced it with rino truck bed coating? gonna get rid of the carpet and try one of the coatings or somthing ... what else is there avalible? ... tao

you will really regret doing that. That stuff isnt the greatest for traction, a PITA to clean up (when inside a car atleast!), and it wont look that great because you cant hide things flush into the carpet (like seat tracks).
It's easy to clean up on a truck and look good because you can just get on top of the truck and spray it down, you'll have to do some weird contorting to clean it up from a car.
Why would you do this anyways? Just to be different, or is there a practical reason?

if you saw the condition of the carpet in my car you would understand why im taking it out ... its not like its a show piece (the car) ... carpeting is a fire hazard ... it seems to wiegh quite a bit ... but mostly i would rather spend the money on performance mods (i can get the coating for next to nothing) ... the cleaning thing isnt somthing i had thought of ... but then thats why i posted here to get the feed back and thoughts of others ... thanks and take care ... tao
