4th gen swap question that I dont think have been asked...
First, with regards to the vents. Has anyone made them functional? I have ditched my A/C already but want the heat and defrost still.
Any ideas there?
Also, with regards to HVAC controls, I'm going to reuse my stock ones, and just put the stock ones in the proper place on the 4th gen dash. Anyone else done this?
I will have my windshield out when I attempt the swap. Anyone else done it like this? Is it easier without the glass in the way?
I have some others but I'm drawing a blank right now.

Sorry no help on the HVAC as Im useing the Complete Dash harness and complete 4thgen setup in the swap. All plug and play for me.
As for the vents Im molding the stock Pillers and 4thGen pillars to make one that works all around.
My windshield will be out when I do the triming for the cover also. (i need a new windshield anyways, cracked mine puting a hood on myself)

I have all my vent working. Also used my old Hvac unit for the time being. Click the link in my sig and go to page 4. Im working a write up with pics of my swap. On there already is how I got the vents to work and how I mounted my HVAC. Note though that I didn't really care that their is space arind my HVAC as its mounted now. I was going to cyt a plate of sheet metak and paint it black to make up for the gaps, buy shortly I will be installing the 4thgen HVAC unit.
