sagging headliner....

Hello People!
Can anyone tell me if there is an adhesive to re-attach the headliner material to the foam backing. If not, other than ordering a new one or going to a scrap yard, did anybody use a different material and how did you do itther than the obvious of course.

Once it sags there is no repair. Just take it to a local auto reupholstery shop for a factory fabric and look. Or DIY and have that look.

First off, I'd feel around on it and see if the board is cracked/crumbling. If it is, you might want to look into an ABS headliner from Hawks or something. If not, then I think the DIY route would be a cheap way to go if you are into doing it. Tons of info in the tech sections and by doing a simple search.

I found brand new ABS headliner, sail panels and sunvisors for $199 here. Your choice of colors and hardtop/t-top. It is a complete kit and shipping is only like $30. Great deal if you ask me.

Paid a lot less getting the headler done at a local shop, about $130 complete. And didn[t have to do any work myself. Nice factory look with the same fabric.

Did mine myself, i used tweed (like the rest of my interior, see my web page), just for the headliner i would guess around 6ft of material @1.89 a foot, and a $7.00 can of 3M spray adhesive and tax it would be about $20.00 and an hour or so time to do the headliner.
