I want to put the 91-92 style ground effects on my 88 camaro. Will they bolt right up in place of the originals or will I have to drill new holes? Thanks, Paul Moore

I've done this on my '87. Remove the old ones, and a lot of the holes will either need to be enlarged or new ones will need to be drilled.

The 91-92 GFX are not a direct bolt on, some drilling is required.

But that's all it is right, is just drilling some new holes. I once heard that in order for the front valance to be used, you had to get the front bumper cover off of the same year car to make it work. I always thought that the front bumper covers were the same(mostly) between all the years. Thanks for your info though, now I have some direction as to what to do to make everything fit. Paul Moore

The front ends are the same on all Z28/IROC/RS models from 85-92. The valance are different and use some different mounting locations, but thats it.

All in all, its not that hard, just takes a little bit of time.
