I have a set of Recaro Seats that need recovering. I was thinking of getting a regular set ( 84 Z-28 type covers), but I do not think they would look correct. Plus then there's the ***** to deal with - how does one get the ***** off to put covers over them? With the seats bolsters moving here and there with a turn of the *****, this is another thing that makes me think regular seat covers would not work. Has any one seen a good set of reupholstery covers for the Recaro Seats? I have checked with a couple of shops in town here and they both want over $1000.00 to do the front Recaros and the back - just the seats - wow, to much...Help, Ed.

 

Keep looking around. I was quoted $300 for two front seats in just about any fabric I want EXCEPT leather. Leather makes it much more expensive.
