seat switch a roo

are there any differences in the passenger and drivers seat that i need to know about. the drivers seat rail broke, and since i have not had my license for 6 months, i dont need the passenger seat, so i was thinking about just switching the driver and passenger seat until i get the seat rail welded back together.

think the floorpans are different between driver and pass sides
another thing is that if yo could pull of the switch, ur recline button and your forward lever will be on the wrong side (hittin the center console). I'd just fix ur curent seats, or find another set.

The seat would swap in a pinch (depends on the seat though; where the seatback latch is located, and whether it folds straight or at an angle), but the main difference is in the tracks. Why not go to a junkyard and get a seat track? They unbolt pretty easily, and it would be pretty cheap too. Probably about as much or less than having it welded.

that sux man, round here it's 16 or have a parent with you. which means you could probably get in at 12, long as dad was there, now that i think of it, i went w/ my dad to a yard before i got my firebird, so i was definately under 16.
