getting the gauge cluster off

getting the gauge cluster off

does anybody know how the gauge cluster comes off on a 91 z28 because in my 84 all i had to do is unscrew a couple screws and it came right off but this one is wierd there are no screws that i can see and was wondering how it comes off.

i need this off to see how many 194a bulbs i need to buy for my gauges

You have to pull the surround off first to access the screws.

Remove the lighter and the headlight pull **** assm. Then you should be able to pull of the plastic surround. This will give you access to the screws.

You will need to take the knee bolster off under the dash. Then there will be 4 screws (I think 4?) then the trim ring pops off. From there will be 2 screws on top and 2 on the bottom of that cluster.
