Bypassing the AC/Heat vents?

I'm kind of throwing some ideas up in the air. I might be getting an ED for my stereo...and thought of a perfect place for it. Right where the AC vents are. I don't run my AC or my Heat....and was wondering...how can I bypass the 2 vents? Of coarse, some cutting will have to be done in order to mount the EQ...but..hey..it's all about modifications. Any help would be great. Thanks

plenty of people have done, unfortunately it's such an older modification that i don't have a current pic on my computer. fits with very little work really. headunits were the more popular thing though.

i don't have the EQ yet (it's on order) but I went ahead and modified everything...cut some of the ducting...cut the center post out..and it will mount perfect there
