Seats from the '02
Seats from the '02
I recently purchased a set of black leather seats out of an '02 Z, and I finally got to work on putting them in today. Let me tell ya, they look awesome! They are so much better than my old red, faded ones. And putting them in was so simple. Front and back bolted right in. All I had to was splice the power and ground wires for the power/lumbar, and it was all good. Prob one of the easiest things I've done to my car. Did I mention I only paid $150 for the whole set?
And all of the seats are in awesome shape. As soon as I can get some pics(prob Monday), I'll post em for you guys.

I was thinking about doing the same thing to my car however I have the tan leather interrior and wasnt sure if the black would look right, I mean it might go well in the since the center console is black as well as the entire dash and some other parts.
kretos: I'm gonna try to get pics tomorrow when I get off work.
lxcamaroxl: I got the seats from my brother. He bought the car wrecked, and pulled the LS1/t-56 to put in his '67 RS/SS. So he sold me the leather interior out of it. The driver seat was already power/lumbar, so all I had to do was splice the power and ground wires. If yours isn't, I'd say you could just run a power wire from your fuse box to the seat. Maybe not, but that's what I would try.
meridius: I was worried about how mine would look to, b/c I originally have red interior. But, other than the seatbelts being red, it really doesn't look bad at all. Like you said, the dash and console are already black, plus the tops of the door panels are black as well. I think it turned out well. Again, I'll try to get pics asap.
