Vent Trouble

Vent Trouble
For some reason the air only blows out of the defrost no matter where I put the ***. What could cause this?

Engine: 383 MiniRam (529 HP, 519 TQ - DD2K)
Transmission: Built '97 T56, Pro 5.0, CF-DF
Axle/Gears: 4.11 posi Ford 9"
1. A bad vacuum connection or cracked/broken vacuum hose under the dash or where it comes off by the EGR solenoid.
2. Bad check valve where the line comes off by the EGR solenoid
3. A bad vacuum dashpot under ther dash (there are like 3-4 or so of them under there)
4. A bad heater/defroster/AC control head in your dash (the thing you use to turn on AC/defrost/heat).
That should just about cover it..... not a fun job under our minimal clearance dashes.
