I have a 1991 Z28 convertible with 16" rims. I need to do some enter cap repair. Is there a way to remove the black plastic insert that says "Camaro"? I bought two used center caps off of EBay but they are in worse shape than mine. I did polish up the black piece on the junk ones and now just need to swap it with my original.
Is it possible? Has any one ever done this?

I also had the spoiler painted. There is a black plastic gasket looking piece of trim between the deck lid and the spoiler. I would like to replace this one but GM has discontinued them and YearOne doesn't have anything. Any suggestions?
