anybody know how to install recaro seats? i just bought 2 recaro sport seats and i bought the brackets and sliders but nothing fits up. i heard u might have to fabricate parts,but if any has done this swap or with momo or sparco seats pictures would help. thanks,bryan

i fabricated all my seat brackets. i was worried about the seats sitting up too high. so i built some out of 1/4 inch aluminum. if i had a pic id show you but i dont.good luck though....

 

Whose brackets did you get?
The ones direct from Recaro, that fit a third gen?
The ones that the seats are really out of?
The ones from GM (that fit the Recaro in the third gen) are different than what you would get direct from Recaro to fit in the third gen. (I hope this makes sense)
Give some more info.

i got the recaro brackets and sliders not the gm. I noticed the sliters fit up to the seats i bought and i heard the brackets haved to be customized and drillled to the floor,but i dont want to mess up the floor so i might have to fab up some stands to fit to the sliders to use stuck location. the other thing is i could probaly use the stock gm stands,but i have to drill them off the stock sliders because they are rivited on, i think i might have it.
