Finally got it all done today except for paint, thats this winter. Total For swap w/wing $15 thats right i got all the side pieces and the back bumper from the 91 rs then sold it with my old 87 pieces for $900. Some previous owner wrecked it so i had 83 z28 front bumper w/o valance. So i had to accure the valance yesturday at the yard for $15. then the high rise wing was given to me for free, neighbor found it on side of the road. ALL TEAL PARTS from 3 different cars.

the car looks great, don't like the turbo iroc hoods, but to each his own

 

so maybe if i stop going to junk yards were i cant find the parts i need, ill start walking diches along the highways for the parts i need. J/k but hey great finds. UR car looks preety sweet.

 

seriously, Every time I'm a venture out to the few yards around here I get nothing. The 3rd gens are all picked clean or worthless

 

Very true specially here cause i live the city area. Granite City ill. isnt that far.
I will use better camera when i get it painted.this winter.

 

Yeah most of the thirdgensin the yards around here are nothing to write home about. I have yet to see even something as common as a louvered hood.

Y'know...come to thing of it, I did once sort of find something on the road..

I was driving along, minding my buisiness and I spotted a belt that had been thrown. Wasnt broken or anyhting, just came off, I guess. Didnt think anything of it. But then, maybe a hundred yards or so further, I saw a pulley sitting on the side of the road.

Was on a busy freeway, and there was no car in sight. I hope the guy didnt just keep driving, because I bet that pulley was off the water pump..
