Triangle piece at corner of door
I am wodering if anyone can tell me off hand whether the black triangle piece at the corner of the door that guides the window can be removed easily. If I take off the door panel will I be able to unbolt the triangle and take it out through one of the cut outs on the door. There is a small piece broken off at the top of the one on the door at the moment and lets in a little water when I wash the car.

Hopefully I can get it out through the bottom of the door as that would make life a lot easier. I would rather not have to take the door panel off completely as I found it tough to get off the black plastic piece at the top of the door. Yes there are two types, they fitted a longer two part one the earlier cars.

It will ONLY come out from the top.To remove the black upper door trim.First roll your window ALL the way down.Remove your door trim, pull out the plastic rivets that hold the door panel to door,Lift upward on the door panel lightly & tap on the upper door trim, start from the door handle end, then center, then by the mirror.Lift/pull while tapping.
