Axle/Gears: FACTORY
"innder door skin removal"

Can anyone tell me how to remove my inner door pnls so i can get to the glass and electric motors? in the process of a tear down and need to replace some things but neither of manuals give directions (hynes & chiltons..) i just need the inner metal out.... any directions, pics or literature would help.. if i understand you right the metal you are talking about dosent come out after u remove the door panel thats all the room you have to workw ith u jus have to work thru the holes the shels are welded to the skin the only thing u ould do is remove the outer skin but then u would have to replace it with a new one and thats not an easy task unless you kno what your doing

so i have to pay to have someone remove the outter shell and glass b4 i get it painted? once the outter shell is removed then will i be able to access the motors and stuff?

it would be much much easyier to jus pull everything out its not easy but not that hard everything can be pulled out of the door with it assmebled just undolt it or drill the rivits and itll come apart and u can either pull everythng out the top or thrugh the access hole sin the door

Do not! remove the outer shell. that involves cutting and measuring and welding things. A lot of work.

Everything in the door is removable through the access holes on the inside. Yes i know its a pain in the *** but thats what you have to do. Taking the glass out first makes it easier.
