Last night a stupid deer ran out in front of me and ruined a perfect hood and a brand new driver side fender. I think I can pick up another good hood at a salvage yard around here, but I want to go with a brand new fender (can't find rust free used ones around here). The fenders I bought around here don't fit as nice as I would like.
Does anyone know of a good aftermarket place to get fenders that fit about as good as GM parts, or should I just try to get one from my GM dealer?

 

i would go gm... but your gonna pay.. if its a daily driver you may be ok with aftermarket but expect to have to do some adjusting and bending to get it all lined up nice n even. i have one of each on my car and did a post about it. i would go gm next time.

I checked on a GM fender: $415 +tax. Not surprised, but that is too much for a daily driver. Who knows when I will hit another deer with it. I managed to find a decent used panel at a scrapyard here, so I will just clean it up and stick that on. Think I have located a hood too.
