waa i need this part where do i get it
ok i had a close call with a tree lastnight. my damage's where. scraping from from bumper to passanger mirrow not that bad can be repainted and be fine.
but my mirrow got the brunt of the pain.
the piece of plastic between the mirrow and door broke i dont know where i can get that?
also i have a dent where the mirrow is, mirrow is scraped and crunched a little, my window its manual power window is hard to roll down and up i notice a little dent where the opening is for the window to go through i think i can pull that out and the dent.
ok so i need that plastic part between the mirrow and door?
and im also wondering if i take my car in to be painted if they will fix that for me like align the mirrow straight and pull the dent?
im getting it painted after winter.
car is a 84 camaro.

You can get the plastic piece from a GM dealer also I know Classic Industries used to have them in last years catalog so they should still have them. I bought mine from GM just a year ago or so.

There's a few different once depending if you have manual or electric mirrors. Check my for sale page (link in my signature) about half way down on my parts page you will find a new GM set still in the bag for manual mirrors.
20366668 is the part number for the passenger side mirror assembly. As far as I know, it comes with the whole mirror and the plastic piece that bolts to the door, but you may want to contact GMpartsdirect.com to see if that truly is the case. I don't see a part number for just that plastic piece.

The gaskets (they are actually pretty thick hard plastic pieces) I use on my 89 for power mirrors are GM #20364442 (RH) and GM #12337844 (LH) and are listed in the GM Parts and Illustration Catalog.
Hope this helps.

GMPartsdirect.com lists them for $2.50 each so piece of cake to just order them from a GM dealer and you're all set

Ok, looked at this again. The thinner ones (part number 20360560 and 20360561) are listed for 1982-85 for manual mirrors (illustration shows a mirror without electrical or wire driven driver side mirror).
The other (thicker) gaskets 20364442 and 12337844 are listed for all years for all type of mirrors (manual and electrical).
There is also different part numbers for the mirror housings 82-85 (manual with DR1 option code/RPO mirrors) so I guess that is the reason for the thinner gaskets ...
Hope this makes it a bit more clear. I've updated my 4 sale web page to reflect this as well.
