85 to 90 front end on a 91

I just messed up my front bumper yesterday while driving in the snow. I slid into the backend of a Cadliac . So now I need a new front bumper and passenger side light. Anyways I got to thinking that it would be cool to put one of the older style front ends on my 91. From a 85 to 90 car. My ? is can it be done or am I in for a world of troble if I try. I want to know because this is my every day driver and I cannot have it apart for to long of a time. thx

yep, can be done, and has been done, doesnt look to bad either, actually, kinda improves on it, but that's just opinion. YOu'll need the bumper, headlights, parking lights, and side ground fx...should be all.....same time, wasn't the 91+ version considered more "aerodynamic" and reduced the cd....that or it was the 85 gfx that reduced cd a lot...but i think the 91 improved on that.
