ok i am ripping out my trans am interior to redo it all, and to make it a two seater, but sometime down the rode i will want/need a roll cage. So i can take it to the track once my engine mods are done (down the rode means when i get enough money to build a new block) but once i do all this work to the interior i dont want to rip it all out again to put in the roll cage especially since i need to form the rear panel around the roll cage. Does any one know what specs are needed to go to a track in MI and really all over, 4pt 8pt 10pt???? just general info one roll cages???

thanks

Basically NHRA is 11.99 or faster you need a roll bar. 10.99 or faster you need a roll cage. Unless you have not modified the firewall or floor pan then you're good to a 10.0 1/4 mile with a roll bar setup.

4 Points are worthless from tech inspection stand point because they will not let you pass on that "officially". Basically you need the side bar to protect the driver too. Check out the links they got some pics.

Course this is all for hardtops... verts there more strict on that.
