hood shocks

hood shocks

My hood shocks dont do s%$#.Im going to get new ones and I looked at the one I have in there and there riveted in.My question is when I get new ones do I need to rivet them back in or can I use bolts and nuts?

If you look closer they are clips on there just pop them off and they should come out. The rivets are the pivot points for the struts they are not attached hope this helps.

Axle/Gears: need 3.73
New hood shocks usually have new clips on them. I should know, I just bought a set from Kragen/Schucks (depending on your location) for 22.00 a piece.

I got mine from Autozone I think $18 each with lifetime warrenty but the top clips were different so I reused those.

i bought mine at advance (cause i work there) and they have a lifetime warrenty. so yeah, $100 to do all 4 (which i deffinately needed), but never ahve to pay for new ones again (just keep returning them)
