4th gen seats, split rear question

I bought a leather seats from a 2002 WS6 TA. My 86 TA had the rear split seat. Of course the 2002 seats are not split seats.

I was wondering if that junk in the middle (for the back of the split seat) would be a problem. I dont like to cut it of, but if thats the only way then I guess I will have to do it.

What do you think, do I have to cut it of?

Thanks,

Nonni

I had the same problem. I had to cut out that little post in the center to get them fit, but after that they fit perfect.

No, you do not -have- to cut it. Unless you want to fold it down.

maybe some seats are different but mine wouldn't bolt in without cutting it out.

It was a little tough to get the seat mounted, but worked. I ended up cutting it anyway so I could fold the seat down.

Thanks, I will try to keep it, but if I am not happy with it that way, then I will cut it.
