Replacing a fender... good time to...

I will be hanging a new DS fender on my car, will it be easier to do the hinge pins at this time? My door is rubbing against the GFX and squeaks when it moves.

Only if you intend to take the door off...

Unless yer taking the door off at the hinges (ie, unbolting the door, and not just removing the hinge pins) then it won't matter..

did my pins while the fenders were off 100x easier. gives a ton more room to work with the door closed. defitanly time to do it.

Sounds like a good idea... now I would need just the upper and lower door hinge pins, like the ones that Lon sells?

What other tools will I need?
Spring Compressor?
Dremel?

cant do the top ones without a rebuild kit, they are pressed on and most of the time they do not need to be messed iwth anyway, just change the bushings on the bottom and stick a new pin in there and you will be surprised with the results, and at my shop i have a door stisting tool, it latches into the door and attaches to the striker, then you twist it up to make the door line up with the body perfectly and close with ease, mine were hittin the body on the bottom, i did the pins and it closed, but once my gfx were on it was about to scratch the paint so i grabbed it twisted the door and it swing open with the popers llike newer before and it closes with just the weight of the door.
