I just got my new(er) camaro today. I love the outside, but the inside looks like ****, to me.....I can't understand why a car would come stock with a red interior and a burgundy paint job. I want to swap the entire interior into my other camaro. How much work is involved? I'm swapping carpet too....I've done this in another car, but not an f-body...To be specific I am swapping seats, console, carpet, headliner, door panels, trim.....Can I swap the seat belts? My other Camaro is bright red with a black interior..I think the red interior will look better in the red car than it does in the burgundy car.

What can I use to dye the rear seat? I can't decide which back seat I want...I have a 4th gen black seat in my old car....but the new car has split fold rear seat...I'd just dye it from red to black.....How do I get the seat cover off?

I was sad to pick up the car and discover that the custom paint job, new warantied engine, and rebuilt tranny came with a ****ed up broken up interior.......I'm also interested in swaping the gauges if this is easy....I like the gauges in my '89 better than the oner in the '91.......
Also, the previous owner has disconnected the oil and temp gauges and instaled sunpro gauges....is there a way I can make both sets work?

 

swappin the gauges has been done but takes fabricating, not worth it imo...I agree you should swap the interiors and its not all that dificult, 1 day job.
