Rear seats delete
I want to get rid of my rear leather seats because I load alot of guitar equipment in the rear and don't want them to get damaged. I saw those wooden covers to hide the metal bracket in the rear where the seats attach, but it looks very simple so I'm just going to make them. Does anyone have the dimensions of them?

how about just remove them altogether ? thats what i think im gonna do in the rear of my 82 TA is go through the rear half of the car and remove any seat mounting brackets altogether and smooth carpet it all, i plan on never hauling ppl around in the car, cept for maybe a front passenger maybe sometimes, its just too difficult to get a person in the rear of these cars, not worth the trouble/hassle,
i was hping to find a pic of someone who has done this but apparently no one has
good luck

I had taken my back seats out at one point in time. Then I got the new leather, so I put the back seats in.
It's really simple to take them out and remove anything that looks tacky. Just have to get in there and do it. Good luck.

Well I don't want to remove the bracket because if I sell it, its basically a 2 seater. Not to mention I still would have 2 large holes in my carpet.
