Electronic climate control
Has anyone ever thought or attemted to convert a thirdgen to an electronic climat control like the buicks and olds I kinda got spoiled while I was painting my car (took way too long) I know the servos are electric so it would be a lot of work but great on long trips

with the right parts, it's really a piece of cake if you can read wiring diagrams. I went with the control head and module from an early 90's car so that wiring diagrams would be closer in comparison. the older cars have modules with servo motors and relay devices that switch the vaccum lines. I will get a pic of the inside of the box I have tomorrow when I get back home. I'm just going to put the control module right behind the head unit inthe radio pod. Everything is right there, so makes perfect sense. You'll also need from the donor car, the temp sensor so the unit knows what the temperature is inside the car. Otherwise, the climate control feature is useless.
haven't worked on this in a few weeks, so not much to get any kind of pics of. I've got some plans for tomorrow though, so I'll get some pics.
